Enclosure bay, then and now.
Most of these old Waiheke photos were taken by my Great Grandmother Dorothy Nugent who bought property in Enclosure Bay back in the early 1920s. No roads, no electricity of course.

Starfish found in the rookpools in Enclosure Bay, you can also get them in purple and blue.
Easter at Waiheke. The water was still quite mild, had lots of swims, plenty of fish around too so we were well feed.
